Wildflower Bodywork + Massage is a practice rooted in intuitive, deeply restorative care. Leah, the owner, wanted a logo centered around a floral motif that reflected both her work and her presence.

Logo for Bodyworker, Lea Wildflower Marin County, CA

The Challenge
The direction of using a flower as the primary symbol risked feeling overly delicate or expected within the wellness space.

The goal was to create a mark that moved beyond a literal interpretation—capturing the depth and strength of her bodywork while maintaining a sense of grace and simplicity.

Approach
I translated Leah’s work into a more refined and minimal visual form.

Simplified the flower shape by removing excess detail, allowing form and contrast to carry the design
Introduced a dark central element to create a focal point that draws the viewer inward
Used restraint in the overall composition to reflect a sense of calm and clarity
Paired a serif logotype with a sans serif subtitle to create balance between elegance and approachability.

Outcome
The final mark is both minimal and expressive, capturing the duality of Leah’s work—powerful yet graceful.

Creates a strong visual identity that stands apart from more traditional wellness branding
Reflects the experiential quality of her practice through subtle visual cues
Provides a versatile and recognizable brand mark across applications
