Ken, owner at HortonCulture, was looking for a logo update, something that was stronger, set him aside from other landscape companies, and reflected his modern approach. Currently he was using a tree with a lot of detail, squiggles—somewhat of a dated new age look, which didn’t represent him at all. In our deep dive review of his character, I learned he was fond of mimosa trees. Using Palm Canyon Drive + Futura Typefaces, the contrast created a grounded modern tone. The end result: An elevated design representing his high end services.
