The Challenge
The project had a tight timeline, with the goal of establishing an online presence before the studio officially opened to build early awareness and momentum.
Key Constraints
No professional photography available during the build-out phase
Integration with a third-party scheduling platform
A need to reflect a very specific brand vision—clean, modern, elevated, and slightly edgy
Approach
I focused on creating a strong visual foundation that could stand on its own without imagery.
Designed a clean, modern logo and brand direction aligned with the founder’s vision
Built an initial splash page to establish an early online presence and capture interest pre-launch
Used typography, spacing, and layout to create a sense of refinement and energy without relying on photography
Structured the site to integrate smoothly with the existing scheduling platform
Designed the website to be flexible, allowing for future expansion as content and imagery became available
33 Hot Yoga is an infrared heated yoga and pilates studio based in Ojai, California. I worked with the founder to develop a brand identity and website ahead of the studio’s launch.
